The Workshop helps a prospective buyer to gain a better understanding about the homeownership process, complete a mortgage application, receive a referral to a local real estate agent, apply for homeowners insurance, and mortgage options including downpayment and closing costs assistance grants offered to qualified buyers by the South Carolina State Housing Program through many area lenders.
